SFDS does not resell hosting, charge recurring infrastructure markups, or hold domains hostage. You open and own your own accounts directly with 1-grid, your payment provider (Yoco, PayFast or other) and any API providers. If you ever choose to work with another developer, you keep everything.
Before project acceptance, we list the main external costs we know of (hosting, domain renewals, payment fees, SMS credits). Providers set and change their own prices. We strictly separate once-off development fees from provider-controlled fees.
SFDS does not position itself as a large custom software engineering house or build complex speculative startups. Websites are our core service; small apps and tools are only accepted when they are practical, clearly defined, and directly useful.
Security is not something that waits for post-launch. We use Supabase Row Level Security and separate access for every client, so each client can only see their own projects, files and records.
All prices, scope and costs are on this site. We do not do free custom quotes, calls or meetings before a deposit. This keeps our prices low and our time on paying projects.
